She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Lee and Henry Logan; her husband James Dewberry; her stepfather J. D. Lawrence; and her children, Kevin Dewberry, James Jr. (Phyllis), Janice and Kirk (Dana).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kareem (Kim), James (Sina), Simeon, Courtney, Brittany (Nathan), Keviny (Scott), Kelly, Kyle, Kameron and Schyler; her brother-in-law Bufus (Alpha); her cousins, Sharon Hood and Geraldine Todd; and her goddaughter Marcia Bennett. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
