She was predeceased by: her mother Rochella Porter (Georgia); her husband Roger Porter; and her son Jose Peñas III. She is survived by: her children, Marinette Peñas Collier, Teresita Peñas, Mae Bosco Godbee, Leonardo Penn, Maria "Cherry" Godoy and Christy Peñas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
