He is survived by: his brother Guy Wilson; his wife Zelda Cook Wilson of Atlanta, Georgia.; his children, Debrorah Wilson McWaters (Ronald McWaters) and Ronald Drew Wilson (Tina Heidbrink Wilson); his grandchildren, Ronald Conner Wilson and Natalie Wilson Rivera (Ian William Rivera); his son Darrel Paul Wilson (Yong Nippper Wilson); his grandchildren, Jennifer Stogner Deaver (Brett Samual Deaver) and Kevin Warren Stogner; and his great grandchild Kelsey Landa Stogner.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (Veterans Cemetery Rd, Georgia 30114).
