She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Martin and Helen Martin; her husband Dr. James Dibble Palmer; and her sister Jean of Lara. She is survived by: her son James "Jimmy" D. Palmer, Jr. (Carrie Lynn Palmer); her grandchildren, James Robert Palmer and Lea Gabrielle Palmer Newman; her nephews, Marty of Lara and Eugene (Moneese) of Lara; her nephew Evan of Lara; her cousins, Dale Grant, Elaine Hume Lett, John Hume, Thaddeus Hume and Alan Ford; her nieces, Vikki Laurence Palmer (Lorin Peri Palmer) and Ema Pinn Palmer (Brooks Palmer); Ryan.
