Russell Edward Palmer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Edward Palmer of Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonora Harlan Palmer (Ratliff) and Russell Albert Palmer; and his siblings, James Leo Palmer (Jimmy) and Martha Louise Palmer Larson (Joan). He is survived by: his wife Joan Michael Dugger; his children, Teresa Palmer of Atlanta, Geogia, Stephen Palmer of Atlanta, Georgia and Michael Palmer (Sherrise) of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, James Palmer and Davis Palmer; and his sister Lorene Palmer Trickey of Columbia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be given with appreciation to Mt. Carmel Cemetery and sent to Patton Funeral Home 121 N. Main Huntsville, MO 65259. In lieu of flowers, donations may also be made to Habitat for Humanity, Suthers Center for Christian Outreach (Brookhaven, GA), or to any service-oriented nonprofit of your choosing.
