She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Kanfer and Frederick Kanfer. She is survived by: her husband Phillip Ackerman; her daughter Sarah; her son-in-law Lewis; her granddaughter Lucy; her brother Larry (Alaina); her sibling's children, Anna and David; and her brother-in-law David Ackerman.
