It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sal Guarisco Jr. in Atlanta, Georgia, born in Morgan City, Louisiana, who passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Sal has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Genevieve Gledhill; his siblings, Mike Guarisco (Ellie), Jeff Guarisco (Helen), Janetta Guarisco Broussard (Tony) and Don Guarisco (Tina); and his caregiver G. Rhodes Cobb. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
