He was predeceased by: his parents, Louisa Galanti and Rabeno Galanti; his wife Ann Friedman Galanti; and his siblings, Benny Galanti, Isaac Galanti, Regina (Melvin Cohen), Morris (Rachel Galanti), Bernie (Barbara Friedman) and Nat (Rheta Okun).
He is survived by: his children, Richard (Barrie) of Seattle, Helene (Stuart) of Atlanta and Louisa (Mark) of St Petersburg; his grandchildren, Sam, Jonathan (Stephanie), Anna (Tyler), Oliver, Peninah, Ilene, Samuel and Rachel; and his caregivers, Marvalyn, Ashanti, Rose, Nadine and Nathan. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
