With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stacy Sampson Jr. (Atlanta, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 78. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Stacy had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Stacy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stacy Sampson, Sr. and Betty Richardson Sampson. He is survived by: his sister Barbara Ann Sampson Gross; his brother-in-law Rodney Gross; his sister Cynthia Lee Sampson; and his children, Shawn Simpson, Kellee Jenkins and Stacey Sampson.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cascade Chapel of Murray Brothers Funeral Home (1199 Utoy Springs Rd SW, Atlanta, GA 30331).
