She is survived by: her husband Albert Matthews Thompson; her children, Marty Thompson Robinson (Curt) of Lookout Mountain, GA, Chuck Thompson (Kathy) of Yatesville, GA, Mary Mathews Eubanks (Ken) of Round Hill, VA and Tracy Mathews Mendez-Vigo (Luke) of Thomaston, GA.; her grandchildren, Lowndes Robinson, Jordan Robinson Yarbrough, Jeffrey Olverd, Carson Thompson Melo (Eddie), Cameron Thompson Moore (Pierce), Kendall Warnock (Danielle), Mat Eubanks (Taylor) and Sara Eubanks; and her great grandchildren, Randall, Yeats Yarbrough, Helen, Hazel Moore, Arlis Melo, EJ Eubanks and Skylar Olverd.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fletcher Day Funeral Home (628 N Church St, Thomaston, GA 30286). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
