He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel George Sampson and Claretta Scott Sampson. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn; his children, Thomas Sampson II (Woody) and Dr. Alia Brown (Julian); his granddaughter Leila Sampson; his siblings, Hunter Sampson, Jaxson Brown, Jakob Brown, Jace Brown and Julian Isaiah Brown; and his siblings' children, Dan Varner (Ashley), Terri Varner (April) and Stephen E. Okiye, Jr. (Nerissa).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel at Morehouse College Watch (830 Westview Dr SW, Atlanta, GA 30314).
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that contributions be made to Morehouse College in remembrance of Thomas G. Sampson.
