William Maxwell Carroll Sr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on June 18, 2023, at the age of 86, William Maxwell Carroll Sr. of Atlanta, Georgia, born in Camilla, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Carroll of Atlanta and Thelma Jester Carroll White of Albany, Georgia.; his grandparents, Robert Dan Jester and Estell Jester; his aunt Mary Jester Follings; and his siblings, Hugh Carroll and Rebecca Hudson.

He is survived by: his wife Naomi Anderson Carroll; his children, William Carroll, Jr., Binai English and Victor Carroll; his grandchildren, Jaburah English, Saza English, Aviel English, Aston Bryant and Keondrea Whitlock (Chris); his stepsister Linda W. Cochran; his cousin Jerome Jester; his son-in-law Torrey English; his sisters-in-law, Thomasine Dye and Sherrye Montgomery; and his caregiver Mary Ross. He is also survived by five nieces; six nephews; four great nieces and nephews; many cousins; friends.
