We announce the death of William Theron McLarty D. Jr. in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 84. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. M. Patterson & Son-Arlington Chapel (173 Allen Rd NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northside Drive Baptist Church (3100 Northside Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30305). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (309 N 16th St, Oxford, MS 38655).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Atlanta Boy Choir.
