He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Stephen Baggett and Audie Britton King Baggett; and his siblings, Avis Baggett Strickland, Amy Baggett Willoughby and Hudson Baggett.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Jackson Baggett; his children, Jeff Baggett (Elise) of Milton, Georgia and Beth Baggett Williams (Tom) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Sarah Baggett Bowen (Opie), Jennifer Williams Clark (Jordan), Caitlin Baggett Hagedorn (Grant), Michael Williams (Hannah) and William Baggett (Gracie); and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Whitley, William, Maggie, Nico and Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bill's honor to the Samaritan Class, Dunwoody Baptist Church or to Samford University.
