She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Sanders and Willie Sanders; her husband Paul Howard; and her siblings, Melvin Sanders, Sara Whitworth, Kenneth Sanders and Shirley Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Maloy (Alan) of Hilton Head Island, SC and Susan Maloney (Sean) of Clemmons, NC; her grandchildren, Michael Maloney of San Francisco, Matt Maloney (Katherine) of Fort Collins, Alex Maloy, Kathryn Maloy (John Gunnells) of Atlanta and John Maloney of Knightsdale; and her great grandchildren, Clara and Lucas Maloney of Fort Collins, Colorado.. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery - Hartwell (3636 Lavonia Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643).
