She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Jim Young and Lilly Mae Toliver-Young; siblings: Rena Mae Ousley, Julia Mae Harris, Wilma Jean Young, Ernest Young (Vergiline), and Wilbert Young; son: Danny Byrd; godchildren: Terrence Hines Jr., Willie Perry, and Kentae Osborne; other: Bobby Dixon, Patricia Johnson (Thaddeus), Angel Butler, Cinderetha Crawford (Tim Crawford), Brenda Jeffrey (Richard Jeffrey), Linda Lott (Christopher), Barbara Manuel (Frankie), Mabel Perry, and Annette Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bouie Memorial Chapel of Collins Family Mortuary (203 W Shotwell St, Bainbridge, GA 39819). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lillian E Williams Elementary School (114 Mc Griff Ave, Attapulgus, GA 39815). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Saint Paul Primitive Baptist Church (4562 Fowlstown Rd, Attapulgus, GA 39815).
