He is survived by: his wife Martha Knotts of Auburn; his children, Dale Knotts Jr. and Karen Knotts of West Virginia; and his stepchildren, Dennis Langley, Ronnie Langley, Serena Langley of Auburn and Sueann Langley of Auburn. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
