Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Dixie for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her mother Ernestine Horne (Dixie); her stepfather Reppard Horne Jr.; and her father Frank Barron Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Nicole Michelle, Norman Elliott (Tyra) and Dolly Chapman III (James); her grandchildren, James Chapman IV and Armoni Smith; her sisters, Leona Barron and Alicia Maydwell; and her sister-in-law Janet Barron. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the TIM Stewart Funeral Home (300 Simonton Rd SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of TIM Stewart Funeral Home (300 Simonton Rd SW, Lawrenceville, GA 30046).
