He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Mons and Annie Lee Mons; and his granddaughter Ashley. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his daughters, Janet Lee (Richard Haymore), Patricia Ann and Julie Renee (Frankie Locicero); his brother Stanley; his grandchildren, Emily (Clayton Payne), Elijah Glasco, Elizabeth (TJ Bryarly) and Marynell (Jeremy Dunn); and his great grandchildren, Rhea, Arya, Charlie, Kaydance, Ryleigh, Addyson, Michael and Lenora. He is also survived by his wife, his brother, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Midway United Methodist (215 Kilcrease Rd, Auburn, GA 30019).
