He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewey Eugene Stephens and Fannie Bell Sampson Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Gail Wiley Stephens of Auburn; his children, Mandy Howard (Norm) of Bethlehem and Brad Stephens of Auburn; his grandson Johnathan Howard of Bethlehem; and his sisters, Janice Wofford of Sandy Springs and Pat Hall Conyers. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
