He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Albert Franklin Stanford and Julia Davaney Stanford of Augusta Ga; and his sister-in-law Nancy D. Stanford. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Elizabeth Jones Stanford; his children, Gregory S. Stanford (Penny) of Aiken, SC, Gary Michael Stanford (Pat) of Tallahassee, FL, Theresa S. (Teri), Kelly Mt (Mike), Julia S. (Libby) and Demkowski (Walt) of Fredericksburg, VA; his grandchildren, Andrew E. Demkowski and Bethany Robinson; his brother Ronald Franklin Stanford of Jacksonville, FL.; and his nieces and nephews, Kenneth Stanford, Kathleen Shaw, Robi Hawley, Vicki Martinez, Domingo Martinez, Fritz Butler and Jackie Anderson.
