She was predeceased by: her spouse Lynward Tharpe; her parents, Christina Mae White Sloan and Otis Glenn Sloan; and her daughter Deanna Lee. She is survived by: her sons, Donald Tharpe (Tammy A.) and Michael E. Tharpe, Sr.; her grandchildren, Kasie Tharpe, Candice Tucker (John) and Michael E. Tharpe, Jr. (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Madison Tucker, Gracelyn Tucker, Addyson Mae Tharpe, Grayson, Landon, Brentyn and Bryce; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Jesup and Shirley Chavous.
