She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Thigpen and Lillian Thigpen; her siblings, Lamar Thigpen, Earlene Godown and Mary Pileggi; and her granddaughter Kiley Drury.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Burrum; her children, Debra Radford, Kathy Robinson (Gerald), Thomas Gordon Burke, Jr., James Paul Burke and John Duane Burke; her grandchildren, Samantha Arnold (Lee), Summer Burke, Julie Smothers (Tracy), Ashley McCarley, Chad Radford (Megan), Chris Radford (Britney), Davis Branch (Amy), Jessica Young, Justin Branch (Jennifer), Holley Burke (Walt), Sarah Kniphfer (Kraig) and Jamie Burke; her great grandchildren, Ben, Rigsby, Will, Gage, Burkley, Zach, Josh, Warner, Easton, Kendall, Chloe, Karah Grace, Krosson, Kingsley and Keaston; and her sister Betty Jean Timmerman.
