It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara B. McCutcheon of Augusta, Georgia, born in Bartow, Georgia, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Bedingfield and Inez Bedingfield; her husband Roy B. McCutcheon, Jr.; and her brother Winston Bedingfield (Velma). She is survived by: her sons, R. Bates McCutcheon III (Martha) and Hugh M. McCutcheon (Gigi); her grandchildren, Bric Rahimi (Scott), Carson Thompson (Joel), R. B. McCutcheon (Morgan), Amelia McDougal (Kevin), Ellis McCutcheon (Beth), Meredith Hollis (Stephan), John Bates McCutcheon (Katie) and Taylor McCutcheon; her nephew Windy Bedingfield (Betsy); and her niece Sherri Bedingfield. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, the Episcopal Day School Endowment Fund or the charity of your choice.
