She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Wallace Bettes and Jewel Mae Dowdle Bettes; her son Leonard Duwayne Rankin; and her son-in-law Chet White. She is survived by: her husband Hubert D. McKnight; her daughters, Donna Rankin Robertson, Paula Torrence Hepburn (David) of Amherst, OH, Carol Torrence Jones (Curtis) of Pensacola, FL, Connie Torrence of Lorain, OH and Diane White of Augusta, GA; and her daughter-in-law Debra M. Rankin of Albany, GA. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
