She was predeceased by: her father Hugh Lamar Hamilton, Sr.; her husband Wink; and her mother Emma Ilderton Hamilton. She is survived by: her daughters, Katharine "Kathy" Jenkins Burns (Lyle) and Leigh Jenkins Samuels (Barrett); her grandchildren, Warren Burns, Hamilton Burns and Emma Samuels; her brother Hugh Hamilton (Mary Ruth); her sister-in-law Katharine J. Lovvorn (Vertis Woods); and her caregiver LaNae Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity on the Hill Church (1330 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904).
