It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Rose Cato Threatt of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Cato and Nezzie Cato; her significant other Arnold Edwin Threatt Sr.; and her siblings, James Cato, Thayer Richardson, John Cato, Carolyn Mills, Linda Crowe and Eunice Smith.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer Usry (Wesley), Katie Cowart (Matt), Ashley Hull (Kyle), Gail Threatt, Matthew Usry (Kerri), Jessica Myers (Logan) and John Threatt (Megan); her great grandchildren, Natalie Usry, Olivia Usry, River Usry, Reed Myers, Adelynn Hull, Kacey Cowart, Ansley Hull, Lani Myers, Goldie Usry, Jake Cowart, Savannah Threatt and Lilah Myers; and her brother Julian Cato (Jean) of Chesterfield, SC. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
