He is survived by: his wife Jill; his sons, Benjamin Jones Tompkins, Jr. (Steven Satterfield) and Marcus Wren Tompkins (Jenny Tompkins); his grandsons, Marcus Wren Tompkins, Jr. and David James Tompkins; and his pets, Lucy and Cordy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
