She was predeceased by: her husband Lowell Ellis Barnhart; her parents, Edmund See and Ninabelle See (Eheremen); and her siblings, Brenda K. See and Charles R. See.
She is survived by: her daughters, Liz Barton (Lee), Carrie Barnhart and Dottie Wesley; and her granddaughter Taylor Burkhart (Treadway).
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the John's. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School (618 12th St, Augusta, GA 30901).
