It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Widener of Augusta, Georgia, born in Mountain City, Tennessee, who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Widener and Virginia Isaac Widener; his siblings, Wanda Boeker, Mary Tester, Carl Widener and Jimmy Widener; and his granddaughter Cassandra Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Johnson Widener of Augusta, GA; his sons, Kevin Widener (Jessica) of Los Angeles, CA and Nick Johnson (Michelle) of Pensacola, FL; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Caelan and Michael.
