She was predeceased by : her husband Wayne George Everett; her son Scott Everett; her parents, Hill Pate and Guesner Pate; and her brother-in-law Aubrey Watson.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Ari Everett, Tara Cox (Bernard) and Bryson; her great grandchildren, Lyla and Benjamin Cox; and her sister Linda Pate Watson of Gordo, Alabama..
