She is survived by: her husband James Beard Jr.; her daughters, Jasmine Ruffin and Tiffany Beard; her grandchildren, Kai, Kenly Cannady, Talaya, Leroy, Dervin Jones and Janiya Williams; her father Calvin Stewart (Helen); and her sisters, Bridgette Thomas and Erica Stewart. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
