Catherine Johnson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Johnson of Augusta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Geraldine Levine and Alethia Grimes (Solomon Grimes); and her siblings, George Greene, Kenneth Levine, Marion Levine, George Levine, Michael Levine and Lenora Levine.

She is survived by: her husband Jake Johnson; her children, Kitisha RayShaun Raynor, Collisa Latimore, Jamel Gibson, Catina Funchess (James), Tanita Hall (Cordell), Shuwanye Jimperson, Malesha Gantt, Vonetta Greene and Ulissa Ledbetter; and her siblings, Gary Levine (Gregory Levine), Evangelist Michelle Easterling Levine and Rosalyn Hill. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Augusta Deliverance Evangelistic Church (2028 Roosevelt Dr, Augusta, GA 30904).
