He is survived by: his children, Michael Mackie, Sr. of Augusta, GA, Carol Butler of Hephzibah, GA, Doris Johnson (Roosevelt) of Hephzibah, GA and Bruce Butler (Cynthia) of Hephzibah, GA; his grandchildren, Minister Sonya Jackson (Derwin) of Grovetown, GA, Tabatha Mackie-Smith of Daytona Beach, FL, Michael Mackie II of Augusta, GA, Allegra Simmons (William) of Henrico, VA, Mikela Mackie of Augusta, GA, Ashlyn Flores-Thomas (Ronnie) of Augusta, GA, Talisha Anderson of Augusta, GA, Aybre Butler and Roosevelt Johnson of Hephzibah, GA; and his cousins, Ernest Butler (Alberta) of North Augusta, SC, Jacob Butler of Augusta, GA, Linda Butler of Augusta, GA and Glinda Butler of Augusta, GA. He is also survived by twenty great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, as well as a host of nephews, nieces and friends.
