He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Luke and Mattie Luke; his brother Ronald Russell Luke; and his nieces, Julie McDaniel Powell and Madison McDaniel.

He is survived by: his significant other Sherril Collier; his sisters, Tillie McDaniel (Jimmy), Billie Jackson (Bill) and Alana Morgan (Pearre); his niece Katelyn Morgan; his nephew Benjamin McDaniel (Jennifer); and his great-nephews, Jack Flanders and Travis Kelly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Church, 3880 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, GA 30909 or to the Kidney Foundation.
