The memory of Charlie Mongold of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on June 15, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Charlie had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Charlie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Mongold and Esther Mongold; and his brother Michael J. Mongold (Sophie Mae). He is survived by: his spouse Menia Shead Mongold; his sister-in-law Patricia Shead Ford; and his nieces, Dawn Ford, Carleigh Moseley (Brandon) and Nataleigh Deal.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Methodist (2367 Washington Rd, Augusta, GA 30904). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Westover Memorial Park (2601 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA 30904).
