She was predeceased by: her husband James Tobin Barrett, Jr.; her children, Mariana Barrett Wheatley and Sherman Barrett; her daughter-in-law Lillemor Barrett (Lilly); her parents, Sherman Drawdy and Allifair Drawdy (Fairy); her sister Ullainee Sancken; and her grandson Daniel Wheatley.

She is survived by: her son James Tobin Barrett, III (Ruth); her grandchildren, Carl Barrett (Elizabeth), William Barrett (Ashley), Virginia Gauthier (Robert) and Caroline White (Billy); her stepgrandchildren, Don Spivey (Shelly) and Kathy Miller (Buddy); her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Walker, Wyatt and Winston Barrett; her stepgrandchildren, Jordan Bethune, Katherine Gauthier, Mariana, Billy and Barrett White; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Buddy, Graycie, Savana and Jedidiah Miller; her friends, Marge Russell and Jean Wright; and her caregivers, Kathy Culver, Brittany Bearden, Wendy Smits, Raven Harris, Sabrina Butler, Tonya Tucker and Rhonda Washington.
