He is survived by: his wife Susan McBride; his children, Tashona Hamilton, Regina Young, Stacey June (Julian), Katrina Davis (Jim III) and Christopher McBride, Jr. (Jasmine); his grandchildren, Deja, Neshia, Niyah, Jalen, Jakyriah, Sylvester III, Sylvester IV, Jewell, Cyan, Rodney, Makayla, Oaklynn, Corbin, Alaysia and Brianna; his godchild Jayden; his mother Florence McBride; and his siblings, Cynthia Brown, Robert Evans, Sharon Luke, Johnny Evans, Anglia Young, Tyrone Cooper, Lakisha Cooper, Nicholas Jackson, Tonya Jackson, Jackie Foote, Wanda Smith and Marie Wright.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the C. A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home (314 Laney Walker Blvd A, Augusta, GA 30901). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Zion Apostolic Church (1640 Olive Rd, Augusta, GA 30904). A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Walker Memorial Park (620 Laney Walker Blvd, Augusta, GA 30901).
