With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clark D Zimmerman (Augusta, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 85. As Clark departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Clark. Though Clark may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his son Clark Zimmerman, Jr.; and his sister Cindy Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Carol Zimmerman; his sons, Gary Zimmerman and Mark Zimmerman; and his grandchildren, Anthony Zimmerman and Tracy Hatcher. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elliott Sons Funeral Home (2524 Lumpkin Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
