He is survived by: his wife Eva Valdez Garces; and his children, Jesus Roberto Garces (Randi), Victor Garces (Rebecca), Adela Eugenio (Lucas), Hector Garces (Tammy) and Mario Garces (Kristina). He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and by his three brothers and four sisters.
