He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Mills Stencel; his parents, George Albert Stencel and Mildred Bruckhoff Stencel; his brother George Byron Stencel; and his grandson Dalton Christopher Best.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Stencel Troy (Shiela), Mark Stencel (Katy), Sheila Stencel and Debbie Brown; his grandchildren, Haley Caines (Dustin), Jonathan Brown, Allison Renew (Joe), Dr. Chandler Stencel, Dr. Tyler Brown, Hayden Stencel (Tarah), Madison Hughes (Justin), Marin Stencel, Caroline Hardin (Jacob), Anna Baumgartner (Wilson), Logan Stencel, Bryce Stencel and Barrett Stencel; and his siblings, Alan Stencel and Beverly Stencel.
