He is survived by: his mother Mary Lou Boone; his wife Elena Davis Boone; his daughters, Katherine Davis Boone and Mary Virginia "Ginny" Boone; and his siblings, Warren Watson Boone (Laura Ann) and Ellen Boone Prasse (David). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

If desired, donations can be made to First Presbyterian Church of Augusta in lieu of flowers.
