He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth C. Walter. He is survived by: his children, Mary W. Dressel (Bobby), Daniel B. Walter, Jr. and Michael E. Walter (Renee); his granddaughters, Brittany Ann Walker and Brie Anna Storey; and his sister Mary Freeman.
