With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David D. Goolsby (Augusta, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann "Beth" McGowan Goolsby; his stepsons, John and William; his parents, H. G. Goolsby and Mary Jo Goolsby; his siblings, Mary Nell Goolsby and Lee Goolsby; and his sister-in-law Patty Goolsby.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Church of the Holy Comforter, 473 Furys Ferry Road, Martinez, Georgia 30907.
