It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David J. Maxwell (Augusta, Georgia), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 19, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae McCauley Maxwell and Harvey E. Maxwell, Sr.; his stepson Troy Bean; and his brother Bud Maxwell. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Linnenkohl Maxwell; his sister-in-law Miriam Linnenkohl Powell; his niece Heather Eloy Powell; and his pet Max.
