She was predeceased by: her parents, John Beck and Dochia Butler; and her grandson Kamron Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Richard Hubert Herron; her children, Johnny Jackson, Andy Jackson, Shannon Jackson, Jason Jackson (Sanyal) and Angie Ladd (Ernest); and her sister Mary Jacobs. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Piney Grove Baptist Church (5060 Mike Padgett Hwy, Augusta, GA 30906). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
