It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra McDonald Welch of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on December 1, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Hickman McDonald and Reverend Elvyn J. McDonald; and her brother Dr. David McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Fred Welch; her sons, Christopher Scott Welch, Zachary Andrew Welch and Joshua Charles Welch; her grandchildren, Leo Welch and Phoebe Welch; and her brother Watson McDonald. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
