He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Ertzberger Hinton and Reginald Hammond Hinton, Sr.; his son Reginald Hammond Hinton III; his parents-in-law, Orville and Daisy Cannon; his grandparents, Roderick, Bell Hinton, Early and Viola Ertzberger; and his siblings, Patricia Moser, Sonya Moser, Harold Hinton, Arnold "Butch" Moser, James Moser, William (Erma Cannon), Robert (Mildred Cannon), Ed (Dreda Cannon), Calvin (Eula Alford), Jack (Mildred Diggs), Clarence (Pat Cannon), Lloyd (Irene Dawkins) and Bob Vermillion.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Angelia (Robert Carson) and Sidney (Kayla Hinton); his grandchildren, Brandi Carson, Kora Hinton, Holly Hinton, Savannah, Brandon Foster, Jordan, Stephany Hinton, Haley Hinton, Korbin Leonard and Emma Leonard; his great grandchildren, Kylie Guy, Kate Hinton, Brody Carson, Conrad Hinton, Titus Foster, Daisy Ruth Foster, Marigold Hammond Foster and Lorelei Hinton; his siblings-in-law, Minnie Cannon Vermillion, Janice Cannon Burton and Charles Hawkins; and his nephews, Randy Hadley, Andy Hadley, Danny Hadley and David Hadley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
