It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donita Darlene Walden of Augusta, Georgia, born in Canon, Georgia, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Wade Sample and Nena Darlene Sample; her husband Sam; her grandson Joseph Thomas Walden; and her sister Charlotte Rae Forrester.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Darlene Conrad, Sandra Rene Williams McKie (David), Samuel Frank Walden, Jr. (Caroline) and David Eugene Walden; her siblings, Carol Jean Huff (James) and Danny Joe Sample (late Maryann); her grandchildren, Zachary Ryan Walden, Samuel Austin Walden, David Matthew Walden (Amanda), Sharon Walden-Lamb, Ashley Mclaurin Canipe (Ryan), Devin Hunter Williams, Anslee Rene Williams, Asher Daniel McKie and Kayl Rowen McKie; and her great grandchild Mckinzie Lamb. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
