Donna R. Thompson Murray Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Donna R. Thompson Murray of Augusta, Georgia. Donna, born on July 15, 1949, passed away on October 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Donna for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thompson and Mildred Widner Thompson; and her daughter Patty Krell Lucero. She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Belanger (Robert) and Barbara Perdue (Bobby); and her sister Virginia "Tiny" Gay (Charles). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Westview Cemetery.
